Step2 - Lowering
No drag inspired bug is complete without a spot of lowering, so that was the first thing I did (well, a group of our club members really).
Go through the photos below to see how it turned out.
Everything wasn't plain sailing though, after we dropped it off the jack we took it for a spin round the bloke but got about 150yds and the suspension bedded in a bit more causing the wheels to ground on the arches. I had to borrow a pair of wheels with 155 tyres on so I could get it home!!! So be warned if you're planning the same! Having disc brakes is so much nicer though! Car drives like a dream now too!
